Infos Covid-19

Although we obviously did not wait for the Covid-19 pandemic to comply with the basic rules of hygiene, recent events have forced us to redefine the notion of "cleanliness" within our establishment.
Also, and to ensure the well-being of our guests as well as health security, here are our 7 golden rules now in force in Moulin de La Croix.

1. Ventilation

The healthy country air, the spring breath that fills the room when dawn comes. Soon summer will be here, already lurking in the still shy rays of the sun's rising sun.The air, therefore, that twirls and renews itself in our interiors. It is our primary concern, it is the air we breathe, the quality of which we will ensure.
Of course, we are not used to organizing indoor barbecues, and even less so in the space devoted to our beloved guests. But now, and to ensure that it can fully regenerate the atmosphere of your penates,...

2. Respect of barrier gestures during cleaning

Just a few weeks or months ago, the mention of "barrier gestures" would have reminded you of the guards of the same name who secured the roads when trains passed - who could then hide others.
But today, having heard it repeated over and over again, you know what these gestures cover: masks, gels, and gloves, the victorious triptych against the spread of the virus that so suddenly burst into our lives.
We are strictly adhering to the guidelines laid down by the government.
It is difficult, however, to apply "social distancing" to the cleaning of a hotel room, as we do not yet have a robot sophisticated enough to pick up the towels lying in the bathroom. Perhaps one day...

3. Use of a good disinfectant

During a pandemic, can we distinguish between "good" and "bad" disinfectants? In itself, a disinfectant disinfects, it is understood and it is already very good. A disinfectant that degreases is a degreaser. And a disinfectant that "diffuses essential oils of lavender and orange peel" is a scam.
We use products that comply with the standards issued by the Environmental Protection Agency.
That is to say that not only do they eliminate germs, bacteria and viruses, but that they respect the integrity of nature, not emitting toxic substances.

5. Use of disposable supplies

Exceptionally, we use disposable cleaning supplies to make sure we don't carry the virus from one room to another.
However, our supplies are made from recycled materials, and are biodegradable, sometimes they biodegrade even before we use them, which means that they are of high quality!

6. Washing of fabrics at very high temperature

All our fabrics (sheets, curtains, towels, slippers...) are washed at a very high temperature. After having tried 600° and having noticed a certain loss of material in the washing process - as well as in the personnel assigned to these tasks, we have opted for a 60°, which in comparison is much more modest, but is nevertheless much more suitable if you want to be able to take advantage of our cotton-based supplies.

7. Removal of non-essential documents and objects

Exceptionally, we will remove all non-essential documents and objects: dubious decorative elements, boring documentation on the thimble museum located yet 2 km away, directory dated 1991. On the other hand, we still can't do anything for your brother-in-law.
